Dynamic Services International, Inc. 8  Financial Services  Commercial Loan Application Our client’s goal was to streamline the commercial loan application and securitization process. The resulting application, including Web-based interfaces, collaborative process management based on an event manager, and inventory management, has processed billions of dollars of loans since implementation.  High-Performance Trade Support System Our client’s goal was to eliminate volume sensitivity from the trading, trade management, and trade support functions. Since DSI’s application came on-line, it has processed transactions producing hundreds of millions of dollars in profit, with revenues frequently spiking above $1 million dollars a day.  Institutional Compensation System Our client’s goal was to support their Institutional Sales Teams and to empower Sales Management. DSI produced a Compensation System that processes sales transactions in real-time, calculates compensation income based on easily- adjustable criteria, provides a holdback function to enable group-based incentives, and supports Sales Management by producing a daily reconciliation to plan. Our Successes

Dynamic Services International, Inc. 9  Print and Publishing  Pre-Publication Budget-Tracking System Our client’s goal was to track multi-million dollar budgets over the course of the two-to-three years required to create multi-grade education programs. The programs run concurrently and require the involvement of many different employees and vendors at different times throughout the process. DSI’s solution tracks budgets and disbursements at a component level, and rolls the results up to the General Ledger. It includes balance sheet and exception reporting as well as a Web-based timesheet for tracking vendor and staff participation, and for validating vendor invoices.  Shop-Floor Automation System Our client’s goal was to manage automatically the flow of orders into a state-of- the-art on-demand printing center, by accepting jobs entered remotely by in-house “clients”, scheduling the jobs based on delivery date and aggregate machine capacity, and then tracking the process from printing to trimming to binding to shrink-wrapping, boxing, labeling, and shipping. DSI’s application manages all these events plus allows users to track their jobs over the Web and updates the billing system on completion of the job and the calculation of shipping costs. Our Successes (Cont’d) (Cont’d)

Dynamic Services International, Inc. 10  Print and Publishing – Cont’d  Sales and Marketing Manager Our client’s goal was to access transaction information captured from multiple fulfillment systems, both domestic and overseas, and make the aggregated transaction data available to its sales force and editors for analysis and decision- making. DSI’s Sales and Marketing Manager employs interfaces and validation routines that process data from multiple external sources and supports access over the Web, even allowing our client’s widely distributed sales force to create individual customer profiles prior to each sales visit.  Dot COM Companies  Sample Distribution and Demographic Data Capture  “B-to-C” Web Site  Travel Planning and Ticketing Our Successes (Cont’d) (Cont’d)

Dynamic Services International, Inc. 11  Public Sector  Automated Food Inspection System Using Handheld Computers Our client’s goal, as a government agency responsible for sanitary health inspections, was to automate restaurant and food inspection processes in a way that would speed inspections, track violations, reduce paper load, and minimize human error. DSI’s solution, a three-tier design, incorporates inspection software on a handheld computer for work in the field, a middle tier to receive the handheld data and permit review by management, and a third tier for the processing of violations and the maintenance of archives. It is the first food and restaurant inspection system in the United States to employ handheld computers to drive the inspection process.  Lead Poisoning Inspection System Using Handheld Computers Our client, a large city agency, needed a method to manage both the medical casework and the environmental inspection and intervention required to reduce and finally eliminate incidences of lead poisoning among children age six and under. DSI’s solution keeps track of the blood lead levels of one million children in a major metropolitan area, and records all the legally required actions associated with high lead level cases within that population. It employs GSI to supply coordinates and to support map-based reporting. It also employs software developed and implemented by DSI for use on handheld computers to support caseworkers and inspectors in the field. Our Successes (Cont’d) (Cont’d)

Dynamic Services International, Inc. 12  Public Sector – Cont’d  HealthStat Application Our client needed to support a new comprehensive citywide initiative to provide uninsured citizens with access to existing health insurance programs. City agencies were mobilized to identify, educate, and in some cases, assist in enrolling eligible families and children. A city agency would collect and review the health insurance applications before passing the eligible ones to the appropriate programs. We created interfaces to support the citywide enrollment efforts and quality control effectiveness of the program. The agency uses the system to track the insurance applications beginning at the point when they are received by the quality control unit through the receipt of decision notices from the insurance programs.  Master Child Index Our client, an urban government agency, needed to create a registry of pediatric medical information. DSI built an extensive application that joined two major databases to support research and investigation. The platform is expandable and will in the future include additional sources of pediatric data. A later phase will include the installation of a data mart with OLAP tools. Our Successes (Cont’d) (Cont’d)

Dynamic Services International, Inc. 13  Public Sector – Cont’d  Electronic Death Registration Our client, a large, urban health department, needs to automate the process of issuing death certificates. They need to replace a largely manual method of data capture that requires extensive effort to complete. They also need to replace antiquated hardware and software used in the key-entry and storage of the information. DSI has embarked on a multi-year project to completely renovate the process and to produce the first fully-automated death registration system in the country.  Help Desk Application Our client’s goal was to provide institution-wide support to meet the needs of civil- service workers using thousands of workstations and peripherals distributed in multiple locations. DSI’s solution permits users to notify technicians via the Internet of problems with the equipment they use. It supports the institution's technical staff in responding to their users with full knowledge of the history of the call and access to each device’s complete service record. It includes a three- dimensional data-mining tool for spotting trends, reviewing the results of policy, and for reporting, both in tabular and graphic formats. Our Successes (Cont’d) (Cont’d)

Dynamic Services International, Inc. 28 DSI has worked with our clients to develop Case Management systems that meet the criteria of storing information and gathering information.  Medical Case Management Medical Case Management requires the recording of patient identification and demographic information, patient contact information, perhaps the identification of guardians or next of kin. It also requires the capture of event-based information, including tests and test results, contacts by case managers, case histories, and treatments. The information in the system may have to refer to hard-copy backup. It will have to include audit functions to track additions and changes to the data in the database, and in some instances will have to track different states of data, the before and after. Case Management

Dynamic Services International, Inc. 29  Environmental Inspection Case Management A variety of chemicals and metals can be toxic to humans. It becomes the responsibility of certain organizations, both public and private, to examine instances where toxic contamination may have occurred and to determine if toxins are present and in what amount. Successful applications must support environmental inspections from the initial assignment of the inspection, to the data capture on hand-held computers in the field, the review of information at the supervisor level, and the final commitment of data in a centralized database with links both to the location of potential contamination and to people who may have been affected by the toxins. Field Inspection

Dynamic Services International, Inc. 30  Sanitary Inspection Case Management Sanitarians inspect sites accessible to the public where strict adherence to rules of hygiene is required to prevent the propagation and spread of disease. Restaurants, grocery stores, butcher shops, fish markets, and public swimming pools represent the kinds of sites that may fall under the purview of the sanitarian. Sanitary inspections usually follow a procedure defined by mandate or legislation. The order in which an inspection occurs, the completeness of the procedure, and the uniformity of the reporting all take on a higher level of importance than in other inspection situations. Since the inspection is designed to assess and encourage conformity to the law, it may be essential to include a process for issuing and recording violations for later adjudication.
