4. Attention Students Do you want a free college education and job afterwards? Then consider a free Associate’s Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology. Upon completion of the degree, you would begin a career with a world-class corporation right here in the Lexington community at a starting salary above the national average. A representative from Michelin will be at LTC on Monday, February 11 th to talk with students from all Lexington One high schools interested in the Michelin Scholars Program. 7. GHS Boys Golf Team The GHS JV and Varsity golf tryouts will be held beginning January 30th at the Country Club of Lexington on Barr Rd. at 4PM. Please see Ms. Keisler in the athletic office after 12:30PM for a tryout information packet. You must have a physical on file to try out. Bring the completed paperwork with you on the first day. Signup ends on January 25.

8. GHS Baseball Tryouts Varsity Baseball Tryouts will begin Monday, January 28. Junior Varsity / B-Team tryouts will begin Thursday, February 7. Tryouts will be from 3:45-5:30/6:00 at GHS Baseball Field.

9. GHS Track Varsity track will begin next Monday, January 28th. You must have a current physical and parent consent form on file with Coach Millwood. If you have any questions, see Deana Keisler in the athletic office.

10. Lady Indian Softball Softball starts on January 28 at Gilbert High School's softball field. We will practice from 3:45 until 5:45. Any girls in grades 7 thru 12 are welcome. You must have a physical on file in the GHS training room or bring it with you on the 28th. If you are involved in basketball, you are excused from softball until your season is over.

CreateIT Discovery Day This day gives suudents the opportunity to explore careers in information technology This is a High-energy day planned for high school students for Saturday, March 2, 2013 in Columbia, SC, 12:30 – 5:00 pm at IT-ology. They will be selling their booster items and will also be taking orders for other items if interested.
