Posters must be LANDSCAPE as they will be A1 size mounted one above the other on 2 x 1 metre boards 2. Alternatively the poster could be made of two A2 Portrait sections mounted side by side, for ease of carrying 3. Total poster area must be no bigger than A1 size (841mm wide x 594mm high) 4. Design in PowerPoint – start by adjusting Page Setup FROM “On-screen Show 4:3” TO “A4 Paper (210x297mm)” 5. The commercial printer can then resize the image to A1 without affecting the proportions of typeface & images 6. We suggest an absolute minimum readable typeface size of 12pt. - or preferably 14pt. - this is 16pt. and you can use 10pt. for references etc 7. Posters will be displayed in the Palm Court room (ground floor), with a rolling electronic screen display upstairs in the main area 8.
