5 Pre-Algebra – What’s That? Pre-Algebra is the fundamental link between mathematics and algebra. It is the link between the concrete and the abstract. Learn to use the “language” of algebra. We begin with easier concepts (2x + 5 = 9) just like you would learn Spanish talking first about things we know – not nuclear physics – then about more complex.

7 Algebra 1-2 – What’s That? One way to think of Algebra is using equations, with symbols, to solve real-world problems. Algebra 1-2 is a high school level course.
