UW-Madison IT Strategic Plan This is a campus Strategic Plan A DoIT Strategic Plan will follow I encourage every major unit to go through a similar process
Vision (DRAFT) Achieving excellence in information technology service for teaching and learning, research, outreach and public service, and administration.
Guiding Principles 1.Create and sustain a service environment that is agile and encourages innovation 2.Embrace shared responsibility and coordinated accountability 3.Work to develop and sustain strategic alignment and partnered decision-making 4.Communicate horizontally and vertically across campus (broadly and deeply) 5.Foster shared responsibility for common infrastructure and support deployment autonomy 6.Leverage enterprise infrastructure and avoid unnecessary replication of infrastructure and services
