12 Reporting & Supervision  n = 64 respondents reported no direct supervisory responsibility  The rest (n = 65) reported supervising a average number of 2 staff members, with a range of 1- 8 staff members  Average number of residents respondent was responsible for was 29; range 7 -150  Some respondents noted they supported rotators or residents from other programs

14 Salary  Salaried respondents reported statistically significantly higher incomes than non-salaried respondents ($53,644 vs. $44,697; t = 3.398, p <.01).  There was a statistically significant relationship between salary and resident responsibility (r =.315, p <.01) and salary and years of experience (r =.236, p <.01)  Also, as the number of direct reports increased, so did respondent salary (r =.390, p <.01)
