What Is The Goal Of Constructing Page Ave.? Provide immediate relief to traffic on US 40, I-70, and MO 370 by carrying about 60,000 vehicles per day at opening and 120,000 by 2020.

Has It worked? We have reason to celebrate!!!  At the one year anniversary, Page Ave. is carrying nearly 50,000 (AADT), and 54,000 (AAWDT)  Page Avenue, MO 364, is functioning as a congestion reliever for other routes between St. Louis and St. Charles Counties We have reason to celebrate!!!  At the one year anniversary, Page Ave. is carrying nearly 50,000 (AADT), and 54,000 (AAWDT)  Page Avenue, MO 364, is functioning as a congestion reliever for other routes between St. Louis and St. Charles Counties

March To November Growth  We’ve seen a 38% increase in volumes on MO 364 from March 2004 to November 2004  Morning and evening rush periods carry about 40% of the total traffic on MO 364  Traffic patterns are still settling  We expect some additional increase in traffic over a short period of time  We’ve seen a 38% increase in volumes on MO 364 from March 2004 to November 2004  Morning and evening rush periods carry about 40% of the total traffic on MO 364  Traffic patterns are still settling  We expect some additional increase in traffic over a short period of time

Future Improvements  Upgrade to the interchange at I-270 and Page Avenue  Flyover ramp from NB I-270 to WB MO 364 is currently being designed to alleviate congestion at the interchange  Design complete in 2007, but project is currently unfunded  Flyover ramp also being considered for SB I-270 to EB Page Avenue (RT D)  Upgrade to the interchange at I-270 and Page Avenue  Flyover ramp from NB I-270 to WB MO 364 is currently being designed to alleviate congestion at the interchange  Design complete in 2007, but project is currently unfunded  Flyover ramp also being considered for SB I-270 to EB Page Avenue (RT D)

Future Improvements  Design of Phase 2 of Page Ave. extension is approximately 75% complete  Design of Phase 3 of Page Ave. extension is approximately 80% complete  Both Phase 2 and 3 are currently unfunded  Design of Phase 2 of Page Ave. extension is approximately 75% complete  Design of Phase 3 of Page Ave. extension is approximately 80% complete  Both Phase 2 and 3 are currently unfunded

Are Phase 2 & 3 Still Needed?  Without completion of Phase 2 and 3, I-70 will experience significant congestion  Economic and environmental impacts could be significant  Without completion of Phase 2 and 3, I-70 will experience significant congestion  Economic and environmental impacts could be significant
