There are two tests and a writing task The first will be English and Maths The second will be Reasoning, verbal and non-verbal Children will be asked to do a 40 minute writing exercise which will be used in borderline cases

3. 11+ procedures for 2015 - 2016 Test Papers Paper 1: 1 hour long 30 minutes of English including 5 minutes practise questions 30 minutes of Maths including 5 minutes practise questions Paper 2: 1 hour long 30 minutes multiple choice – verbal reasoning 30 minutes multiple choice – non verbal reasoning Writing exercise: 10 minutes planning time, 40 minutes writing
