1. North Allegehny Librarians This is the Toolbar that you will see on the right hand side of your screen. You can move the Toolbar by clicking on the grey area at the top, shown here with the yellow arrow.

2. North Allegehny Librarians To Write Click the pen tool (1). You can change the color by selecting your preference on the color palette (2). You can also change the width of the pen by sliding the square button shown below (3). 3 2 1

3. North Allegehny Librarians To Highlight Select the highlighter icon (1). You can change the color by selecting a color from the color palette(2). You can also change the with by selecting the slider button (3). 1 2 3

4. North Allegehny Librarians The Select Tool The select tool allows you to select or choose objects or text from the flipchart. Once this button is chosen, the icon becomes an arrow.

6. North Allegehny Librarians Undo and Redo By clicking the “Undo” button, you can “Undo” the last action. You can continue clicking the undo button and all actions will be “undone” back to the last time the flipchart was saved. By clicking the “Redo” button reverses the “undo” button’s actions.

7. North Allegehny Librarians Clear Button Think Windex….. The spray bottle will remove writing/objects on the flipchart page. By clicking on the spray bottle, you will have the option to: Remove Annotations (anything you wrote/highlighted) Clear Objects Clear Grid (if working with grids) Clear Background Clear the Page

8. North Allegehny Librarians The Trashcan (Also known as the Flipchart Bin) The “trashcan” appears each time you launch ActivInspire. You can select an object and drag it into the trashcan to delete the item.

9. North Allegehny Librarians To Reset the Page By clicking the “Reset Page” button, you can reset the flipchart page back to its original design, without having to delete items. This is helpful when students have worked on the flipchart page and you want to delete their work for the next lesson/class.

10. North Allegehny Librarians The Eraser The eraser (1) can be used to erase something written on the Flipchart. You can change the width of the eraser by moving the sliding bar (2). 1 2

11. North Allegehny Librarians Toolbox Options To Move the Left Toolbox, you can click on the Toolbox Options Button. This allows you to “dock” or place the toolbox left, right, floating or closed. Toolbox Options
