4  Begin now! An early start leads to increased proficiency.  Levels I and II at the Middle School are your first two years of high school credit towards your requirements of World Languages and Cultures for an advance diploma  The student should select a language about which he or she is enthusiastic. There is no “best language” to take.

6  ASL and Chinese not offered here at Champe, but students interested in this option are bussed to Freedom HS.  ASL/Chinese Sequence: ◦ Grade 9: level I ◦ Grade 10: level II ◦ Grade 11: level III

7  Encourage your child to register for a language about which he or she is enthusiastic and excited.
