3 Taiwan Tech is located in Taipei City, the capital of Taiwan. Taipei is the political, economic and cultural center of Taiwan, and also part of a major industrial area. Railways, high-speed rail, highways, airports, and bus lines connect Taipei with all parts of the island. Location

7 Achievements (1/2) The No. 1 Technical University in Taiwan Seven colleges, 28 separate departments and graduate schools, 29 interdisciplinary programs, and over 30 technological research and development laboratories. Vision for Building a World-Class University Only university in Taiwan sponsored by the Ministry of Education under both its Aim for the Top University Plan and Paradigm Technological University Plan. International Ranking THE World University Rankings: 2014 Universities under 50 Years Old– No. 42. QS 2014 Asia Top 200: No. 51 World-Class Design Education The iF Concept Design Awards World University Ranking: 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2014 No.1 in the world. Recipient of many international design awards, including iF, reddot, SIGGRAPH, Nagoya Design Do!, and Braun Prize. Graduates Perform Well NTUST graduates ranked No. 4 for overall performance by enterprises in Taiwan according to the survey by 104 Job Bank and Global Views Monthly Magazine.

8 Achievements (2/2) Outstanding Faculty Ranked No. 6 in Taiwan for the number of faculty members who have received the National Science Council’s Distinguished Research Award. Optimal University-Industry Cooperation Ranked No. 4 in Taiwan after receiving the Ministry of Education’s University-Industry Cooperation Award five times to date. Also ranked No. 1 by the National Science Council for the cumulative total of fees received for technology licensing. Ongoing Invention and Innovation Only university to receive the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ National Invention and Creation Award in 2007. International Campus and Outreach Nearly 600 international degree program students enrolled in the 2013-14 academic year (6% of total student body). Over 350 incoming and outgoing exchange students in the 2013-14 academic year. International students represent 44 different countries. Approximately 240 sister universities worldwide.
