Directions: Practice with your partner on how to ask and give directions over the situations below or think of a situation of your own. If you need help, you may use the expressions and sentence patterns in the Useful Expressions chart. 1. A new student at your university asks what there is to do for entertainment. Give directions to some of the dance places or social clubs. You could also mention if they give student discounts or have special activities for students. 2. You are a taxi driver and your passenger asks you for certain places tourists can go. Outline what tourist spots he can see and where they are located. Provide suggestions and directions by telling him where to get the bus or the subway, and so on.
