6 DMRTI Facts: FY09 37,400 student trained in 2009, 141 courses at over 50 events at over 30 locations –6,322 courses in-person; prodominately Military Medical Officers Over 4,000 courses doctors, nurses, Physician Assistants (PAs), Medical Service Corps in classrooms worldwide Over 2,000 courses for doctors/nurses/PAs at Ft Sam/Camp Bullis Over 450 physician and senior subject matter experts flown to meet students –Over 31,100 trained on line (EPRC Courses)

10 JKDDC Relationship Initial work begun in 2007 with the Emergency Preparedness & Response Course Work closely to maintain course and provide Services quarterly reports Developed partnership in 2010 to establish JKO-DMRTI relationship to promote ADL capabilities for the DoD/joint medical training community

11 Emergency Preparedness Response Course Developed as a result of GAO Audit addressing CBRNE Training for DOD Medical Personnel Original program deployed in 2004/2005 on individual Services Learning Management Systems Courses included: –Basic/Awareness –Operator/Responder –Clinician’s –Executive/Commander

12 Emergency Preparedness Response Course Course revision begun in October 2006 adding short courses for Operators and Clinicians JKDDC agreed to host course in April 2007 Launched Dec 2008 “Joint certified” in 2009/2010 Continual updates most recent occurred in January 2010, next update due to be deployed in April 2010 Completions - 3,441 in FY2009

13 Future Projects Development of game ware into 2 EPRC courses – 3 lessons and a overall exercise Incorporate addition level 3 interactivity into EPRC course Develop new medical courses that will available on high and low bandwidth Development of Community of Interest (COI)

14 Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) for Deployed Personnel Project underway to develop course Available on high and low bandwidth Utilizes level 2 and 3 interactivity
