5 Ideas/Issues Preferable to host PSE-2018 in a major US city
International conference Prefer not to add shuttle/short flight travel to those coming from Europe or Asia Larger than “typical” CACHE-sponsored conference Perhaps attendees From CACHE Minutes, April 2001, Galveston. Review of past conferences – Edgar: PSE 2000: Low attendance, but income and operating expenses seems roughly to have broken even. The CACHE Minutes, November, 2000, Los Angeles indicate 260 people and 254 papers at PSE It is clear that there were issues with how Keystone handled room attrition. The original contract (1998) was for 300 rooms, using a % of room total basis, before the hotel expanded.
