4 www.wecf.org Objectives: The action will contribute to reduced poverty in 22 (remote) rural communities in 7 EEC countries through demonstrating domestic solar heating, hot water and insulation solutions, formulating lessons learned for effective financial, institutional and legal instruments for widespread replication of sustainable energy options Contribute to achieving MDG7, MDG1 and MDG3, contribute to increased energy independence, creating job opportunities in the renewable energy and efficiency sector, reduce environmental pressure and CO2 emissions and promote EU environmental policies.
