3 PURPOSE OF SECOND INTERVIEW Employer’s Goal Are you the best candidate overall? Applicant’s Goal Do you want to work for this employer? Is the location a fit for you?

4 PREPARATION Review itinerary and make travel arrangements if needed Further research the employer Plan your attire and bring copies of resumes and references for each person you will meet with

5 SAMPLE ITINERARY Wednesday, March 10 (Arrive 6:45 p.m.) 7:30-8:00 pm– Hotel Check In (Sheraton Hotel, Confirmation #6143) 8:00-9:00 pm-- Dinner with Mark Ferguson, Management Associate Thursday, March 11 8:00-9:00 am-- Breakfast with Tasha Holmes 9:00-11:00 am-- Testing, Human Resource Director 10:30-11:15 am—Panel Interview, IT Development Team

7 FURTHER RESEARCH Ask first round interviewer to send any additional information you should review Research salary information and have a range in mind If possible obtain a copy of the itinerary, and the names and titles of the interviewers

8 MAKING TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS Typically employers will pay for your hotel and flight if required Some will make the arrangements directly; others will expect you to make the arrangements and reimburse you after the visit
