1 By Keegan, Noah, and John…

2  Some characteristics of Bacteria are that they can cause decay of many things, they are single celled, and they are able to make people very ill. Some types of Bacteria are bacilli, spirila, and cocci.

3 Some characteristics are they grow dead animals, they feed on dead animals, & turn animals into hummus. There are many types of fungi, like mushrooms, toadstools, and molds.

4  Some characteristics of a plant are that they make their own food. Also, they have chlorophyll that makes them green and they grow from seeds or other plants.  Examples of plants are grasses, garden shrubs, deciduous trees.

5  Animals have many characteristics, but some of their best are that they have many cells, they are split into two groups, - vertebrates and invertebrates, but we will talk about that later. In addition, they eat other animals.  Some examples of animals are dog, a turtle, and a gecko.

6  Some characteristics of protists are that they are single celled, lives in water and ditches, and they make their own food.  Some types of protists are Protoza, Filamentous, and Amoeba.

7  Scientists use this method to classify living things  Kingdom  Phylum  Class  Order  Family  Genus  Species

8  Invertebrates-  Arthropods  Mollusks  Echinoderms  Sponges  Insects  Vertebrates-  Mammals  Reptiles  Amphibians  Birds  Fish

9  So you can see, there are 5 kingdoms of living things, witch they are classified in.
