12 12 What We Did o Trained faculty in hybrid electric and CNG technology o Purchased state-of-the-art equipment o Developed new courses for certificate and degree students o Built new “on-ramp” program with MCSC

13 What MCSC Did  Recruit low-income community residents  Provide contextualized literacy linked to work experience  Offer Tech Train course for new entrants to Auto Tech careers  Provide case management at MCSC and MATC 13

14 Partnership Impact to Date  Trained 48 people in CNG and Hybrid Electric Technology  Expanded capacity to deliver alternative fuel training:  Obtained academic credit for new courses in AA program  Built on-ramp for under-served residents o Provided intensive short courses to up-skill incumbent workers  Enhanced case management at college 14
