17 Linking an Excel Chart to a Presentation
Open both Excel and PowerPoint. Open the worksheet containing the chart in Excel and then select the chart. Click the Copy button. Switch to PowerPoint and navigate to the slide you want the chart placed on. Click Edit and then Paste Special. 18 Editing a Linked Object
Open the document, worksheet, or presentation containing the source object. Edit as required. Save the document, worksheet, or presentation. The linked object is automatically updated in the destination program when the document, worksheet, or presentation is opened. ©2001 Paradigm Publishing Inc.

19 Embedding a Word Table in a Presentation
Open both Word and PowerPoint. Open the document in Word containing the table. Select the table and then click the Copy button. Switch to PowerPoint and navigate to the slide you want the table placed on. Click Edit and then Paste Special. 20 Editing an Embedded Table
