3. PLAGIARISM
Plagiarizing is taking someone else's work and calling it your own. It's actually a form of stealing because you are claiming something that is not yours. Not only must you rewrite the information using your own words, but you must also let the reader know where the information came from.

4. CITE YOUR SOURCE
Once you have put the information into your own words, you then need to list the source. Ask yourself, "Would I know this if I hadn't read it on that website or in that book?" If the answer is no, list the source.
