Definition Hypotenuse of a right triangle is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides.

Trying to find Hypotenuse
Set up your problem Square your legs (multiply times itself) Then whatever you get when you add up both of your legs Find the square root Add up both of your legs (after you square the legs)

Rules Hypotenuse is always going to be right across from the right angle. Hypotenuse is always going to be the longest side of a right triangle. Only can be found on a right triangle
