15. 14 7. JIS X8341-5: Office equipment JBMIA issued “Accessibility design guideline ver.1.0” for office equipment in June 2000 in Japan. This guideline takes into account the Section 508 of the rehabilitation act and JBMS-73-2004 is based on it. Committee draft for JIS X8341-5 “Guidelines for older persons and persons with disabilities- information communication equipment and services Part 5: Office equipment” which is based on JBMS-73-2004 has been publicly opened in January 2005.
