Kansas State Department of Education www.ksde.org C & J Consultation Services  Serve as a partner to KSDE and the Network Service Provider (service centers).  Provide Knowledge and Experience in the District Needs Assessment Process.  Assist in the training model for Implementation Coaches, District Facilitators and Fellows.  Provide historical KLN data and research to KSDE and Network Service Provider.  Bring a National Lens to the School Improvement Process with their involvement in other states.  Assist in the transition to a Kansas led Learning Network.

Kansas State Department of Education www.ksde.org Next Steps  Receive Confirmation on the Kansas ESEA Waiver.  Finalize Network Servicing details with Service Centers.  Meet with Cross & Joftus to determine Consulting Services.  Hire a KSDE School Improvement Coordinator.  Bring to the SBOE a contract in July for C&J Consulting Services.  Develop an RFP for a Kansas Evaluation of KLN and Technical Assistance.
