Go to Layer > Duplicate Layer to make a copy of your image Go to image > Adjustments > Black and White on your “background copy” layer Work on the “background copy” layer which should be black and white Use the paint brush tool, set at a low opacity Create a new layer for each color you use Layer > Flatten Image (only do this when you are finished (and happy) with your colors! TIP: Refer to the color version of the photo as a reference- but know that your goal is not to copy your colors precisely- work to add a unique look to the color with your knowledge of color theory

Crop Tool> 8 inches for height or width, and 10 inches for height or width. Click and drag and hit enter to apply the changes Save your images in a folder with your name on it. With your images in Adobe Bridge, put a green bar along the bottom of the photo you would like to print. Save this folder in the Drop Box > Digital Photo I > Your Hour > Hand Color Thanks!
