The Giver and His Receivers

Romans 1:20-21 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power & divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, & their foolish heart was darkened.

Psalms 50:23 He who offers a sacrifice of thanksgiving honors Me; and to him who orders his way aright I shall show the salvation of God.

Psalms 69:30 (David) I will praise the name of God with song and magnify Him with thanksgiving.

Psalms 95:2 Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.

1 Timothy 4:4-5 For everything created by God is good, & nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude; 5 for it is sanctified by means of the word of God & prayer.

John 5:21-22 For just as the Father raises the dead & gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes.

1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 PRAY WITHOUT CEASING; 18 IN EVERYTHING GIVE THANKS; FOR THIS IS GOD'S WILL FOR YOU IN CHRIST JESUS.

Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; & be ye thankful.

Psa 145:8-9 The Lord is gracious & merciful; slow to anger & great in lovingkindness. 9 The Lord is good to all, & His mercies are over all His works.

Acts 14:17 He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good & gave you rains from heaven & fruitful seasons, satisfying your hearts with food and gladness.

Matt 5:44-45 But I say to you, love your enemies & pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil & the good, & sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

2 Timothy 2:10 For this reason I endure all things for the sake of those who are chosen, so that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus and with it eternal glory.

James 1:12 Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

Luke 17:11-19 Only one man took the time to thank the Lord for removing the disease.

Acts 20:35 In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'

Luke 7:41-42 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence [day’s wage], & the other fifty. 42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both.

Col 3:16-17 …singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17 WHATEVER YOU DO IN WORD OR DEED, DO ALL IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

Psalms 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden [loads us with benefits], the God who is our salvation.

Colossians 1:12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light.

Colossians 2:6-7 Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, 7 having been firmly rooted & now being built up in Him & established in your faith, just as you were instructed, & overflowing with gratitude.
