What is a Corporate Property Council? coun·cil noun 1. an assembly of persons summoned or convened for consultation, deliberation, or advice. 2. a body of persons specially designated or selected to act in an advisory, administrative, or legislative capacity: the governor's council on housing.

Creating a Charter, Objectives, and Initiatives Charter or Mission Statement –Inspire and lead the vision, talent, policies, best practices, and support for the effective and efficient life- cycle management of tangible property owned by or in our custody.

Creating an Objective Examples of Objectives: –Provide governing property policies to ensure that Customer and Company property is effectively managed, utilized and compliant with regulations. –Develop and mentor property management talent. –Promote a “One Company” approach in property processes and system applications. –Deploy best practices through company wide initiatives. –Represent Company with DCMA-HQ, the AIA Property Management Committee, ASTM International and ISO. ̶ Ensure best use of resources ̶ Implement Industry Standards ̶ Share knowledge across operating groups to make decisions that are in the best interest of the Company.
