Instructions for using this template. Remember this is Jeopardy, so where I have written “Answer” this is the prompt the students will see, and where I have “Question” should be the student’s response. To enter your questions and answers, click once on the text on the slide, then highlight and just type over what’s there to replace it. 27 Food chain

What do we call food chains that overlap?

Food web

What do we call the triangle-shaped diagram that shows how energy gets used in a food chain?

Energy pyramid

Where is most of the energy found on an energy pyramid?

At the bottom; in the producers

What would happen if all of the producers died in a food chain?

All of the animals would also die because they lost their food source.

What do we call the living and nonliving things that surround a living thing?

environment

What do we call the living and nonliving things that interact in an environment?

ecosystem

Why would animals find survival difficult if they were forced out of their habitat by human pollution or habitat destruction?

Sample answers: They might not find another food source in the new ecosystem, they may have to compete for food with other animals, or they may not find the shelter they need in the new ecosystem.
