3 Ch 3 Vocab Furtively: characterized by stealth and secrecy.  The robber glanced furtively at his accomplice at the bank. POS: adverb

4 Ch 3 Vocab Antagonism: a state of deep-seated ill-will.  The teacher noticed the student’s open antagonism. POS: noun

12 Ch. 2-3 Activity  Find a partner to work with.  Each pair is assigned one discussion question by the teacher.  Students have 5-minutes to prepare a written answer and be prepared to present the question.  Teacher chooses one of the two students to present the question. Students will facilitate a discussion around the question. ADD INSIGHTS YOU LEARN TO YOUR WRITTEN DISCUSSION ANSWERS WHILE GROUPS PRESENT. WHEN ALL ARE DONE PRESENTING, TURN IN YOUR CH 2-3 WRITTEN RESPONSES TO THE DISCUSSION QUESTIONS.
