Facts about the war On the 1 st of September 1939 German troops invaded Poland under Hitlers orders In Europe it began on the 3 rd of September 1939 when British prime minister Neville Chamberlain declared war on Germany After world war 1 ended Germany was banned from having armed forces and had to give up lots of there land this was the main reason for the war they wanted more power

Concentration camps Hitler was responsible for the holicaust he wanted the world to be free from Jews so he put them all in concentration camps The most famous story i have heard of is Anne Frank she and thousands more people died in these camps Hitler wanted to rid the world of any different people he called it racial purity
