Protection functions which are the most important for a motor as well as the continuity of the service. And Monitoring functions which are also very important for mastering the status of the motor. Other than the functions provided, TeSys T also afford the availability for easy configurations: It supports 5 different communication networks: modbus, profibus, canopen, devicenet and ethernet tcp/ip, and could be set up through either Magelis HMI or PLC or Powersuite software. The switch Start/stop command the relay output O1 The diagram is an example using the Tesys T in a Direct-On-Line starting motor 2 wire control : input remain active as long as an active signal is present on the input The following diagram represetns a simplified example of the controller in a 2 wire local control overload application. In the independant operating mode, the start/stop of the motor is performed by the controller 2 Wire D.O.L. Control

The Start push button I1 commands contactor KM1then KM2 and in a second time the contactor KM3. The diagram is an example of the Tesys T reduced voltage starting motor such as Wye-Delta (see picture) or Open transition primary resistor or open transition autotransformer Transit Conditions (step 1 to step 2) : Motor step 1 to 2 time out or current falling below the motor step 1 to 2 threshold An another wiring diagram which represents a simplified example of the controller in an two-step Wye-Delta local control 3 wire application. In this operating mode, the two-step starting motor is performed by the controller. 3 Wire Star-Delta Control
