1.The great American dream is that people can rise from obscurity to greatness with hard work and talent. In Malcolm Gladwell’s Outliers, the American Dream is more of a myth. According to Gladwell, success is not only about working hard, but it is also about being at the right place at the right time and having the will to work hard. Refute or defend the previous statement using details from the text.

2.American architect Frank Lloyd Wright once said, “I know the price of success: dedication, hard work, and a devotion to the things you want to see happen.” Based on your reading and study of Malcolm Gladwell’s Outliers, do you agree with Wright’s prescription for success? Use evidence from the text to support your argument.

“I know the price of success: dedication, hard work, and devotion to the things you want to see happen” is a quote by Frank Lloyd Wright and how many people think is what success should be.

Therefore, in my opinion, I don’t agree with Frank Lloyd Wright, for the reasons above.

People who get this luck are born at the right time, living in the right place, and most importantly determination.

The price of success is not only determined by dedication, hard work, and devotion, but also by being at the right place at the right time and being lucky.
