Our Mission: All individuals served at the Huron County Board of DD will have a well-defined, person-centered ISP naming: interests, likes, dislikes, level of support requested, connections with like- minded disabled or non-disabled peers and friends, employment, self-determination of employment with an increased wage, increases of support within the community and paid supporters faded.

Ever want to go to a movie late at night but have no ride? Have you ever had a sick child at 3am and no way to get them to the hospital? Ever have a problem finding a wheelchair accessible transportation for a family member. Are you tired of not finding an open handicap parking spot?

Goals from the meeting Ultimately we wanted a round-table discussion for all members in the community to voice their needs, wants, ideas and hopes in regards to transportation in our area To see a collaboration between those supplying transportation and consolidate efforts to provide services to the greatest number of individuals To identify that people have a need to be integrated into their community in order to make meaningful connections
