3 Immigration & Naturalization Legal Services Family-Based Visa Petition: US Citizens and Green Card Holders may petition their close relatives to immigrate to the U.S. Naturalization: Immigrants who have had their green card for 5 years may be eligible to apply for US Citizenship. Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA): Newest immigration policy benefiting youth who were brought to the U.S. as children. Political Asylum: Applicant must have suffered persecution in home country based on race, religion, politics or certain other grounds.
