2 Bill McLeod spoke about the Fletcher Key Club candy sale fundraiser. Heavenly Father, Let us look to You for help in identifying the problems we can rectify in our community. And guide us in our efforts to administer aid to those in need. Help us to use our time and energy wisely, not to waste it on insignificant matters that benefit no one. And now bless this food to our use and us to Your service. Amen We need your help! As a member of our Kiwanis Club, we hope that we can count on you. On Oct. 29 th & Nov. 5 th, our club is going to have its next Membership Roundup. It will be a time when we invite men and women of our community to become part of our club. The goal is to gain 10 new members. We added 10 members on a similar drive a couple of years ago. Think of someone you would like to see join our club. Each of us has a friend, family member, or business associate who is not a member of Kiwanis. There is benefit to these people by joining Kiwanis. You like being a Kiwanian. There must be a reason for that. Please call us with a prospect’s name and contact information. This special membership drive has been very positive for us and all other clubs that have carried it out. We need new members to add to our efforts to serve the needs of the community. We hope your prospects will be men or women who will energize our club, take an active part in our projects, and attend meetings as often as possible. We are having a special membership noon luncheon on Oct. 29th. We want the prospect to be your guest at the luncheon; therefore, you should be sure to attend as well.
