7 We must adapt our writing style according to who the reader is, to what our intent is, and to the current situation in which we are writing. Write for your Reader 7

8 UNDERSTANDABLE writing is clear and direct. AVOID repetitiveness and generalizations. AVOID too much jargon. SEQUENCE ideas and thoughts logically. ORGANIZE a plan before you write. USE more simple sentences and fewer complex sentences. BE persuasive and GIVE your writing punch to keep it from being boring and impersonal. Writing Tips 8
