STUDENT WILL… COUNSELOR WILL… -CREATE ACCOUNT for the SAT and ACT on collegeboard.org and ACT.org - Assist with advising on different tests and timelines -REGISTER for tests and SHOW UP prepared to take test (ID, calculator, etc.) - Encourage you to take either/or the SAT/ACT at least 1 time prior to applying to college - SEND scores (and associated fees) to colleges when applying to schools (fall – winter) - Provide fee waivers and assistance in applying for accommodations (if eligible)

10.  What we expect YOU to do ◦ Ask EARLY! ◦ After student asks the teacher they then must make a formal request to the teacher on Naviance.  What you can expect from counselor ◦ Provide a Letter of Recommendation form for you to give the teacher (available in the guidance department). ◦ Write a letter of recommendation for each senior, if required. ◦ Write a letter for any student on current caseload, if student submits recommendation form by June 21 deadline
