The Mystery of Christmas 1Tim 3(16) By common confession, great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh, was vindicated in the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed in by the world, and taken up in glory.

The Miracle of Christmas John 1(1-3) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2) He was in the beginning with God. 3) All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. John 1(14) And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten ( monog-enēs ) from the Father, full of grace and truth. Christ. John 1(18) No one has seen God at any time; the only Begotten God (Jesus) who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained (exēgeo-mai) Him. Jesus is perfect Theology

The Why of Christmas Hebrews 2(14-17) Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could He die, and only by dying could He break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. 16) We also know that the Son did not come to help angels; he came to help the descendants of Abraham. 17) Therefore, it was necessary for Him to be made in every respect like us, His brothers and sisters, so that He could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God. Then He could offer a sacrifice that would take away the sins of the people. New Living Translation

The Anti-Christ of Christmas 1 John 4:2--3 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; 3) and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world. 2 John 1(7) for many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist. Romans 7:17--18 So now, no longer am I the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh; for the willing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not. Romans 7:24-25a Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from this body of this death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!

The Taste of Christmas Hebrews 2:9 But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone. Hebrews 2:18 For since He Himself was tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to the aid of those who are tempted. Tempted (pā-rä'-zō) to try, make trial of, test for the purpose of ascertaining quality. It’s the same word used in the "temptation" of Christ and in the Lord's Prayer. “Lead us not in temptation” (pā-rä-smo's) but deliver us from evil.

The Hope of Christmas- "Jesus became what we are, so we could become what He is." Irenaeus Irenaeus “Man can do nothing with out God; God will do nothing without man.” John Wesley Gen: 1: 26 "according to Our likeness; and let them rule over (the Earth.) Philippians 2:7 (Jesus) …but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond- servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Hebrews 4:15b For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize (have compassion) with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. Acts 10:38 You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

The Ornaments of Christmas- Identified-Rescued–Transferred-Reconciled Hebrews 2:11 For both He who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one Father; for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren. Col.1:12--13 Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light. 13) For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son. Col 1:19—20) For it was the Father's good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20) and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven. 21) And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, 22) yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him, holy and blameless and beyond reproach.

No more let sins and sorrows grow, nor thorns infest the ground. He comes to make His blessings flow far as the curse is found… The Mystery of Christmas is about God entering into our world dedicated to deliver humanity from the consequences of the curse, the power of sin, and eternal death. This was accomplished through God the Son coming in the likeness of humanity (son of God, son of man). From the virgin birth to His death on the cross, Jesus experienced all of humanity’s frailties. Christmas is about the Father’s plan to defeat Satan’s tyranny over humanity by allowing His son to be sacrificed on the cross and to experience, as a human, all of the horrors of the wages of sin. This resulted in our restoration through His forgiveness. The first Adam had given the earth to the devil; the last Adam took it back which included the keys to unlock death, hell, and the grave. His physical resurrection from the dead proved this triumph. The gift of Christmas is our reconciliation back to the Father. We have been translated from a Kingdom of darkness in to one of Light. The Son is now ruling in the essence of glorified humanity inviting us into the Father’s presence as sons and daughters. We are now holy and blameless beyond reproach, to be the ambassadors of God’s authority upon the earth, ruling through His Spirit destined to bring the Glory of the Fathers Kingdom upon the earth.
