PLTW High School Program (Biomedical Sciences) Principles of Biomedical Sciences introduces students to the study of human medicine, research processes and bioinformatics Human Body Systems explores basic human physiology. Students design experiments, investigate the structures and functions of body systems and use data acquisition software to monitor body functions. Students use projects to investigate various Medical Interventions that extend and improve quality of life. Biomedical Innovations has students designing and conduction experiments related to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease or illness. 5
