Eurostat published a booklet on “Disability and Social Participation in Europe” in 2001. u International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) from the World Health Organisation, linkes the EU to the World, therefore new efforts are nescesary u Disability Measurement Project currently implemented by EUROSTAT u Concil decision for gathering of health and safety data will create a basis for gathering data on disability
