Tourists must read up about the country they want to visit, community, culture and country’s history before they came to the country. Because the country, which you visit, has got a different social and cultural construction. When you're travelling, you are a guest in somebody else's home. As well as taking care to respect the particular customs of your hosts, don't do anything you wouldn't do at home.
You live, wear, eat as local people. For example you wear more closed in the religious places. You share your experiences and your culture in your countries with them. This set relation between you and local people. For example Alanya… When you buy hand made which are made by local poeple (especially by women), local people join economy of country.
If the guests are interested with local arts and crafts the guide advices honest and reliable vendors, believing local craftsman will continue and traditions will be kept alive and developed. If you learn a few words in the local language and use it, you will surely get a smile from the hotel staff and street vendors and local people. They will like it.
Most of the sites you visit may be visited by millions of people a year, so care needs to be taken to allow others to enjoy this as well. Be mindful of other visitors. Take your litter with you and for heaven's sake, do you really want your name emblazoned on the walls or the caves or the sides of the mountain? Do you absolutely HAVE to take that picture of yourself on top of a monument especially when the signs say "NO"? Some of these monuments and artifacts are so old and fragile that they are sensitive to the touch of hands or bags and shoes.
The hospitable is very important subject in Turkey. We are very affable for ours guests. Our guests are saw someone from ourselves. They are showed respect by local people. And local people should get a fair deal out of your visit, by offering goods or services for you to enjoy – such as great tasting, authentic food from a local restaurant, real local crafts for you to take home as a lasting souvenir or guiding services so you can get closer to the destination that you’re visiting.
You are wherever of the world if you respect the local customs, and the dignity and rights of the local people, in turn, you'll be better respected as a visitor.
If you buy somethings, you would buy from local people. Direct employment occurs in hotels, airports, airlines, tour operators, travel agents, and tourist offices for local people. Indirect employment occurs in industries that serve the travel and tourism industry. When you buy somethings from local people, these districs will develop.
Local people need to be supported for their economy by you. Therefore, you give some help to developing of tourism industry.
