December 24, 1914 - Married Husband – Archie Christie – Naval pilot Agatha worked as a nurse during World War I. Wrote first novel shortly after – The Mysterious Affair at Styles
Her mother dies in 1926. Agatha takes death extremely hard and goes “missing”. When found, she claims amnesia. Divorces Archie in 1928. Begins traveling extensively to France and the Middle East
September 11,1930 – Married Again Husband – Sir Max Edgar Lucien Mallowan – archaeologist She travels with him while continuing to write.
