33  ASSIST - Articulation System Stimulating Interinstitutional Student Transfer  1985 through California State Legislature and funding  Guidance from UC, CSC, and CCS to help counselors in the transfer advisement process for students  Transfer and Articulation Unit o Works with California State University and the University of California Systems to ensure that community colleges transfer students have access to the necessary coursework and are provided the services needed to successfully transition to baccalaureate granting institutions
