1 ARMY ROTC A GREAT OPPORTUNITY For more information, call (605)688-6151, email SDSU ROTC at: SDSU.Army.ROTC@sdstate.edu or go to www.sdstate.edu/msl South Dakota State University Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty (GRFD) Two-Year Scholarship The Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty Scholarship is designed specifically for members of the Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve. The scholarships, which are awarded to about 250 National Guard and USAR members nationwide each year, pay all tuition, fees, $600/semester for books and materials plus $450 (junior)/$500 (senior) per month subsistence pay. In addition to monthly drill pay as an E-5 and GI Bill + Kicker, this is the best university student financial opportunity available anywhere. All of the benefits of an ROTC scholarship plus the benefits of the Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP) are included in this exciting opportunity for you, right here at SDSU. Approximate SDSU 2-year GRFD Scholarship Benefits (based on 16 credits/semester, in- state rates) Room and Board $11,000.00 Tuition and fees $9,000.00 Books ($600/semester) $2,400.00 ROTC Stipend $9,500.00 LDAC $850.00 Drill Pay $5,932.80 GI Bill & Kicker $16,000.00 TOTAL $54,682.80 HOW TO BE A WINNER ARE YOU ELIGIBLE? THE ARMY ROTC GRFD SCHOLARSHIP Army ROTC has always been one of America’s leading sources of scholarships, making awards to thousands of the highest caliber students each year.
