Homework: Create a Metaphorical Representation examining why the Industrial Revolution began in Great Britain and the impact it had. You may select one of the following to complete the statement or come up with your own for bonus points. Complete the following statement: “The development of the Industrial Revolution in Great Britain over other European nations was like”: – Putting together all the pieces of a puzzle. – Having all the gourmet ingredients to create a lavish feast. – The competition between siblings as the older sibling gets the new clothes, car, etc…while the younger siblings get the hand-me downs. – Come up with your own for bonus points.
