2 I. The names of the country: 1.Britain 2.the British Isles (geographical names: two large islands and hundreds of small ones. The two large islands are Great Britain and Ireland.) 3.Great Britain: the larger of these two islands. It forms the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. 4. England 5.the United Kingdom or UK

6 III. The Geographical features of UK 1. The south of Britain : mostly low-lying land, with hills and agricultural land; Wales and Scotland : mostly covered in moorland and mountains.
