2. Why I chose my topic I chose my topic because I see a possible answer to the energy crisis in America, energy effcient house for low income families. I see this as a great benefit because it will help both the united states conserve energy, and also help the low income families with there energy bills.

3. Research I found Energy effiecincy became a became a major problem in the U.S. in the 1970 This was caused by the “shortage of gas” and rise of prices for fossil fuels. Starting in the year 1985 E.P.A. has started to design energy effiecnt appliences and designs for a low cost

Research I found I the year 2010, out of the twenty five million households that earned below twenty five thousand dollars of less, only one third were renters Residential units consume twenty six percent of the nations energy supply, and cause twenty percent of the U.S’s carbon emissions per year

5. Research I found Many low income families are effected by the cost of energy/gas bills Out of the households that received federal money assitance, fifteen percent went more than a week with out energy
