5.  These are the liberties and freedoms given to all citizen.  Few rights, if any are considered absolute though.  Citizen’s rights and freedoms in the US are guaranteed by the Constitution.  In return for these rights, citizens owe allegiance to the government.

6.  Amendments that protect these freedoms are: a) Bill of Rights ( the first 10 amendments) b) 14 th Amendment  The Constitution also protects the equality of citizens through majority rule.
