Scientific Journals Recopilation of 900 journals and 1800 Researchers annual compulsory report CIC2009 SIGEVA  There is an enourmous quantity of journals awaiting original articles, many with great visibility  Great dispersion in journal selection, specially in the Social sciences.  In the exact sciences, the great majority of articles are concentrated in foreign journals, medium impact.  SciELO.org, has contributed with added visibility and concentrates an increasing number of publications.  Nevertheless, a high percentage of journals included in SciELO.org and REDALYC receive few contributions from Argentine researchers.

27. Scientific Journals Journal ranking is a dinamic and evolving process. A gradient- Electronic Open Access journals can circulate among all libraries, even if they do not benefit from a prestigious brand. Scholars around the world will be more aware of Latin American journals and their content. Competition for excellence will motivate top scholars in Latin America in fields relevant to the region. Evaluation processes must accompany these regional and national projects. The strategies coming out in Latin America with SciELO.org and also with Redalyc have preserved the local identities, while incorporating global world visions. Conclusion
