5. Get patient to bite onto cotton wool

6. Gently remove brackets with wire in-situ

7. DON’T SQUEEZE!

8. Grip and rotate

9. Appliance removed in one section

10. Need to remove excess cement using series of polishing burs

13. Polishing Sequence  Remove gross composite cement with fine polishing diamond or 8-fluted tungsten carbide Bur  Remove remainder composite with high speed white stone  Slow speed white stone – remove superficial scratches  Rubber disc/cone for final polishing  +/- diamond polishing paste
