23 Outreach Services Work falls into 3 categories: Reference Consultation Cooperative Collection Development Programs Partnerships with members such as the Undergraduate Research Working Group

30 Primary Source Awards To recognize the contributions of: research and teaching faculty librarians, library staff, graduate students, and others within the CRL community Purpose of the awards is to share with staff at CRL libraries creative strategies for using materials in major CRL areas of collection: newspapers, archives, government documents, and popular journals.

31 Award Categories & Prizes 3 categories, 3 awards: Research, teaching, & access PRIZES Award Finalists ~ Will receive a $200 gift certificate for Powell’s Books. Nominators of the eventual finalists will receive an iPod Touch.

32 Award Nominations Nominations for the 2010 awards accepted online beginning October 2009 www.crl.edu/primary-source-awards Award finalists will be announced on March 1, 2010 and recognized at Council of Voting Members Annual Meeting and other CRL events

33 Strategic Directions 2009-2010 Focus. Increase print and electronic resources that support international studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences. Support. Provide for the archiving and persistence of critical print and electronic HSS resources. Integrate. Address collection development and preservation issues on a global basis.
